pretty simply,
Sort by date
shell> rpm -qa -last | awk '{print $1}' | xargs yum info -q
or sort by alphabet
shell> yum info installed -q
and the result will look like :
Name : tk
Arch : i386
Version : 8.4.13
Release : 5.el5_1.1
Size : 888 k
Repo : base
